Baldwin County Bicentennial Park

The 367 acre park located just north of I-65 on the Tensaw Parkway presents the opportunity for visitors to enjoy the natural attributes of the Mobile/Tensaw Delta as they observe the unique vegetation that can be seen along the two mile long walking trail that follows the perimeter of the wetlands in the Park. At present the Park provides educational possibilities within the genre of Native American culture circa 1780s. Through the reconstruction of a period trading post and waddle and daub winter homes, the historical immersion experience is highlighted in the transitional period between traditional construction and that of the early European settler.
